We begin the spring Excursion season with Happy Valley, east of Tucson off of Mescal road on the sunrise side of the Rincons. Even though current temps are in 70’s it still looks like winter in the desert. Chances are cottonwood, sycamore and mesquite will bud by the time we venture out.
This location has unique sites including views of spectacular shear cliffs and soft grassy approaching slopes. Come, join us! Friday, March 29, 8-5.
This is a wilderness area which means there are no facilities so be prepared for a wee-wee bit of roughing it.
Pepe-the-Fox on patrol.
