Outing: Roosevelt Reservoir: Plein Air Paradise

22b

A short 3 days around Roosevelt Reservoir  provides enough diverse scenery to keep the outdoor artist occupied and then some. Roosevelt is just 20 miles north of Globe, AZ (which is 99 miles north of Tucson). At Globe, turn right on 188 and presto, voila, a mighty freedom of landscape unfurls before you. There are no hotels so be prepared to camp (or overnight in Globe). Get maps, ice and grubs at Boston’s Bar and Grill near the Lake.
