It’s one of those saturated plein air mornings. We are cruising around the Arizona backcountry. The damp brings out the darks so we see a lot more contrast on the ground, and in the sky.
Dead stalks of Palmeri Agave dot the landscape. The patterns are compelling-I go for a very tall one.
Dirt here is rich in mineral. Red oxides peek through green juniper stands and road cut erosion.
Katrina studies this specimen enhanced by the wet.
