Agua Caliente Park boasts year round water. With water comes wildlife, birds are abundant here.
Mallard ducks usually migrate, but not here, they never leave! You will always have a picturesque duck or two to plein air.
It is early and the light will change more dramatically at this time of day which means work fast but don’t forget to measure!

We decide to make a day of it ending up on the opposite side of Tucson at Gates Pass. This is one difficult place to paint….go pleinairistas!
